Dr. Arezoo Emadi is a passionate engineer, educator, and innovator with a global background in advanced sensor technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba and a Licentiate in Microtechnology and Nanoscience from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
Her expertise encompasses MEMS sensors, biomedical devices, chemical transducers, and micro- and nano-fabrication. As Founder and Director of Innovation at Anthea Technologies, she leads the development of high-performance sensing platforms that are transforming agriculture and healthcare.
Before founding Anthea Technologies, Dr. Emadi gained valuable industrial experience as a research engineer at the Royal Canadian Mint, where she worked on innovative R&D projects and developed a leadership style rooted in collaboration, creativity, and mentorship. Her time in industry continues to influence how she manages research teams and industrial partnerships at Anthea Technologies.
Dr. Emadi is also an Associate Professor at the University of Windsor, where she directs the e-Minds Research Centre and champions student-centered learning. Her teaching innovations earned her the national Wighton Fellowship.
With experience in both academia and industry, Dr. Emadi brings a mixture of technical depth, leadership, and real-world insight to every project she leads.

Dr. Haleh Nazemi is a highly motivated and innovative engineer with a strong background in MEMS sensor technologies and hands-on laboratory leadership. As a Lab Manager with financial and budgeting experience, she brings both technical expertise and operational excellence to Anthea Technologies' mission of advancing high-performance sensing platforms.
Since 2018, Dr. Nazemi has managed lab operations for core undergraduate engineering courses, including Electrical and Computing Fundamentals, Introductory Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Circuit Analysis. Her role has involved everything from maintaining complex lab equipment to mentoring students and ensuring a seamless, high-quality learning and research environment.
At Anthea Technologies, Dr. Nazemi leverages her extensive understanding of sensor systems and her practical experience in laboratory management to support the development and testing of next-generation technologies for agricultural and biomedical applications. Her leadership is defined by precision, creativity, and a passion for empowering innovation through hands-on engineering.
